Action on disability: the right to independent living

The Welsh Government is seeking views on proposals which are intended to develop and improve access to help, advice and services for disabled people in Wales.

The Welsh Government is consulting on a draft framework and action plan that aim to

• tackle inequalities and poverty experienced by disabled people
• promote equality of opportunity
• provide support to more easily access resources and mainstream services.

An integrated impact assessment has been completed and will be published shortly.

The purpose of the consultation is to seek views on proposals which are intended to develop and improve access to help, advice and services for disabled people in Wales.
