Cabinet Office: Green Paper: Transforming public procurement
Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, the government is consulting on proposals which aim to speed up and simplify its procurement processes.
In the paper, the government states that the current regimes for awarding public contracts are too restrictive with too much red tape for buyers and suppliers, which results in attention being focused on the wrong activities rather than value and transparency.
Please email any comments you would like to raise in response to the consultation to james.cooper@togetherforshortlives.org.uk by Wednesday 3 March.
