Care Quality Commission: New strategy for regulation
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has opened a consultation on its proposed strategy for updating how it regulates.
The CQC say that its new strategy to help health and social care providers and systems aims to reduce inequalities, eliminate discrimination, advance equality and protect human rights.
The strategy is built on four themes: people and communities, smarter regulation, safety through learning, accelerating improvement.
Please email any comments you would like to raise in response to the consultation to james.cooper@togetherforshortlives.org.uk by Thursday 25 February.
