The Local Government Association (LGA) has launched a consultation on the upcoming green paper for adult social care and wellbeing. Specifically, the LGA want to understand perspectives on how to fund the care in our communities for adults of all ages and how our wider care and health system can be better geared towards supporting and improving people’s wellbeing.

Together for Short Lives will be responding to this consultation and invite perspectives and responses to help inform our submission to the LGA. Specifically, we will be outlining the ways in which adult social care can be designed to ease the transition of children with life-limiting conditions from children’s to adults’ services.

The green paper is available on the LGA website, where there is also a summary green paper.

You can also read more about the consultation on the Local Government Association website.
