Facing the Facts, Shaping the Future A draft health and care workforce strategy for England to 2027

Facing the Facts, Shaping the Future – a draft health and care workforce strategy for England to 2027 has been developed by the whole health and care system and will be branded as being both an NHS and Public Health England document.

The draft strategy sets out the current workforce landscape, what has been achieved since 2012, the work underway and describe an approach to shaping the face of the NHS and social care workforce for the next two decades.

Health Education England (HEE) is currently consulting on the draft strategy. The full strategy and supporting documents, and instructions as to how to submit comments can be found on the HEE website.
