Inquiry on the impact of Covid-19 on children and young people with SEND – APPG for SEND
The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) has opened an inquiry on the impact of Covid-19 on children and young people with SEND during transition within educational establishments.
The inquiry aims to, among other things, further build the evidence base of the impact of Covid-19 on young people’s mental health and wellbeing during transition. The inquiry also aims to examine the impact that Covid-19 during transition has had upon children and young people with SEND, specifically in relation to their social, emotional wellbeing within the community.
Please email any comments you would like to raise in response to the inquiry to james.cooper@togetherforshortlives.org.uk by Sunday 8 November.
More information on the inquiry can be found here.
