The Butterfly Fund provides a one-off payment of £300 to families following the death of a child from a life-limiting or life-threatening illness. To find out more about the Butterfly Fund, please read this Q&A.

The Butterfly Fund is currently open in all UK regions.

Professionals are able to refer families for a Butterfly Fund grant by completing the online referral form.

We aim to process all eligible referrals within one week of application.

Our Butterfly Fund exists to alleviate some of that initial pressure, giving families the space they need to simply grieve, or to remember their child in a special way.
