About Us

If you can demonstrate experience working with babies, children and young people with complex care needs and are passionate about providing a high standard of nursing care in a family led environment, we would like to hear from you!

Here at Rainbows Hospice, we support the hospital to home transition for medically stable children & young people, requiring long term ventilation, who might otherwise need to remain on an intensive or high dependency care area through our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team.

Rainbows Hospice is currently seeking a Band 5 Nurse to join our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team, providing 1-2-1 care for babies, children and young people who have a range of complex needs including long term ventilation of either a tracheostomy tube (invasive) or via a face mask/nasal cannula (non-invasive). As part of the LTV and Step-Down Team, you will have the opportunity to work within the multidisciplinary team made up of a variety of skilled members including Music Therapists, Complementary Therapists, and our non-medical workforce team of ACP’s.

Rainbows Hospice is available for families all year, 24 hours a day, we therefore operate on a shift basis to provide the best possible service.

• Training and support in Long-term Ventilation.
• Free onsite parking at the Hospice, Lark Rise, Loughborough.
• Eligibility to join blue light card discount scheme.
• Bupa Cashback plan.
• Life Assurance.
