Exciting Opportunity Alert! Join a Team that makes a real difference!

Are you ready to be part of something truly special? At Hospice in the Weald we’re dedicated to giving nurses the time they need to deliver exceptional care. We believe that every child deserves to be just that – a child, not just a patient.

We are recruiting full time, part time or bank staff to join our team.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Children’s Nurses to join our incredible team, ideally with experience of working with children with complex health needs. We will provide training and support for clinical responsibilities including competency assessments.

You will care for children aged 0-18 with life-limiting conditions, including a variety of complex health needs, offering sessions of respite care both in the home and eventually in our new Children’s Centre at Five Ashes. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible team players with a passion for providing high quality holistic care to children and their families, with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

At Hospice in The Weald, we empower our staff to provide outstanding care. This means treating each child and young person as the unique individuals they are, fostering their independence and always keeping them and their families at the centre of everything we do. Helping children to play, learn and grow, as well as supporting siblings and the rest of the family. You will enable children, young people and their families to have access to experiences they may not otherwise be able to have. You will communicate effectively and respectfully, sometimes in difficult circumstances, while maintaining accurate records of care on the electronic care record system.

You will be an integral part of the team and assist in its development, working alongside children’s support workers and volunteers to help us care for our first caseload of children.

Benefits include free parking and a generous holiday allowance with the ability to buy and sell additional holiday. You can even carry over an NHS pension. You can view more information about our range of benefits here.
