Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide administration and clerical support to the care teams at Chestnut Tree House. Main duties will include database administration; booking and managing education; activity and engagement events; maintaining medical records; managing the flow of clinical information; meeting management and other general administration tasks.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy multi-functional environment and be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, together with strong communication and IT skills. The ability to work with competing demands is essential as is having the flexibility to work independently, whilst remaining part of the wider clinical administrative team

Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.

An enhanced DBS will be sought, if you are successful in this role.
