Are you a children’s registered nurse committed to promoting a culture of learning and development, with an interest in children’s palliative care?
If education is your passion this is an excellent opportunity for you to join us, having a role in developing the team in meeting the needs of children, young people and families. A career at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is an incredibly rewarding one as you are able to make a real difference to the lives of children living with life limiting conditions. Everyone works together, supporting each other, to ensure that we seize every opportunity to create memories to treasure for every child and their family.
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We are currently supporting around 300 families both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more. It costs more than £5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government sources.
As a Clinical Educator, you will be part of a team of 3 responsible for working alongside and providing face to face training to our care team, supporting and developing the care workforce through clinical practice and the promotion/implementation of relevant education and development pathways.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, hardworking, positive thinking and experienced children’s nurse as Clinical Educator. You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to plan, facilitate, lead, and evaluate a range of educational programs.
In return, we can offer you a fantastic working environment and the following benefits:
