Charlie House supports babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, across the north-east of Scotland. We have an exciting opportunity within the Fundraising and Marcomms team at Charlie House for an experienced business development professional to join us as Corporate Fundraising Manager.

Location: Charlie House Office, Aberdeen

Job Type: Full time – 37.5 hours per week, over 5 five days or Part time – 30 hours per week, over 4 days

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, the post will have responsibility for leading and delivering the Charlie House corporate fundraising strategy, and proactively securing new, high value corporate partnerships. You will provide a high level of account management and stewardship to the existing and new Charlie House corporate partners to maximise fundraised income and deliver agreed fundraising targets.

This post will play a key role in helping Charlie House raise vital income so that local children and families can get the support they need and help drive forward our Big Build Appeal to create a specialist care centre for children, providing much needed respite, palliative and end-of-life care in the region.

We are looking for someone who has experience in relationship building, whether in a fundraising environment or business development/sales capacity. With strong communication skills and a determination to deliver upon financial targets, this role is for someone who is as passionate as we are about helping local children live life to the full.

Main Duties

• Lead and manage the corporate portfolio to develop and drive new business support and partnerships, alongside retention and uplift of existing partners
• Research, identify, and cultivate a pipeline of targeted new business that delivers maximum income
• Build solicitation and engagement plans for prospects and existing partners
• Create and present compelling, persuasive and audience-tailored pitches and proposals to prospective supporters and partners
• Create and deliver bespoke stakeholder engagement and fundraising plans to maximise fundraised income from partners and promotes repeat giving
• To lead on and deliver excellent account management and stewardship of existing supporters and partners
• Work with the Director of Fundraising to develop and deliver a longterm corporate fundraising strategy
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of budgets, annual targets and KPIs
• Report on New Business and corporate partnerships pipeline and performance
• Work closely with the volunteering team to identify and provide volunteering opportunities for corporate partners
