Are you passionate about the art of the truth being well told?
Then you could be our first ever Head of Marketing and Communication at CHAS.
Here at Children’s Hospices across Scotland, better known as CHAS, we have one shared mission – to ensure that no one should face the death of their child alone. We are determined to reach every family across Scotland that needs us and we will not rest until we have accomplished that goal – however long that takes.
This new role is central to achieving our ambition and will take the lead on the development of a comprehensive engagement and content strategy that inspires the Scottish public to join with us and help keep the joy alive.
You will lead on the continual evolution of our Keep the Joy Alive brand, created by the children and families that CHAS supports – so you will have to be at the top of your creative game to work with such an imaginative and award-winning team.
You will build and safeguard our reputation through securing high-impact PR, ensure the voice of children and families is heard at the highest level, develop audience insight and use this to create powerful engagement strategies that get our message heard.
You will have creative flare, have an entrepreneurial approach, be commercially astute, demonstrate you can deliver cut-through marketing and communication results on time and on budget and have an endless curiosity that inspires others to think differently. You will also provide marketing support to our retail operations and Ardoch Loch Lomond, an exclusive use venue that has recently become part of the CHAS family and ensure everyone is proud to work at CHAS through clear internal communication.
You will be an excellent team player, able to work alongside colleagues building a shared ambition to ensure CHAS raises the funds required to provide our services to children and families across Scotland and you will lead a team of marketing and communication professionals to make this happen. You will enjoy working at pace, thrive on two days never being the same and excel in creating innovative opportunities to engage audiences.
If you think this is you, then we would love to hear from you.
