Health Care Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our dedicated and supportive team, providing high quality care for our babies, children and young people here at the hospice. We welcome applications from Candidates seeking either Full time or part time hours.

Working under the direction of a shift coordinator, you will provide family centred care for babies, children and young people who have a range of complex needs or who are palliative and at the end of life. You will assist in all aspects of personal care, supporting the implementation of care plans.As an HCA, you will contribute to the overall performance of the team by being proactive and enthusiastic, providing the highest quality of care at all times.
The successful applicant will ideally be an experienced HCA or have a relevant background in caring for others, either in a school, community or health care setting. Rainbows offer a wider range of training and development to help you succeed in your role.
This role is on shift basis and duties cover the 24-hour period, 7 days per week.
