Healthcare Assistant (Community)
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic care support worker, to provide holistic individualised care and support to children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families.
The role will involve providing personal and clinical care to meet the needs of children and young people as well as creating and providing opportunities for children and young people to experience play, social interaction and learning.
This is an exciting time to join the Chestnut Tree House team and be part of transforming and developing the service. We offer both in-house and community care; this role will be predominantly providing community care but there may be opportunities to support care in-house.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role and requires dedication and commitment to ensure children and young people are at the centre of care.
For further details and an informal discussion about the role please contact Melissa Hancorn on 01903 871800
Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.
