About us:

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We are support around 300 families both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more. It costs more than £5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government sources.

The role:

To work as part of our HR Team, supporting the recruitment, which includes the onboarding of new starters to Bluebell Wood. Also, maintaining accurate employee records in compliance with GDPR.

Providing administrative support to the HR team, where necessary.
You will be responsible for data gathering and producing regular reports from the HR database and act as first point of contact for employees in all matters relating to the HRM system (Cascade).
You will have high standards of Microsoft office applications and excellent time management skills.
Some hybrid working is available for this role.

The requirements:

To fulfil the role effectively, you must be able to work as part of a small team, whilst working independently and proactively completing tasks. Excellent organisational, communication, and attention to detail are essential requirements of the role.
