Nurse Associate
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Nurse Associate to provide Children / Young People (CYP’s) palliative care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working in the Chestnut Tree care team.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, clinical nursing care to children and young people that access Chestnut Tree inhouse care. The post holder will provide clinical nursing care, delivering a broad range of interventions for CYP and be flexible in meeting the needs of CYP with life threatening and life shortening conditions and their families.
It is an exciting time to join the Chestnut Tree integrated clinical team and be part of our transformation and development of care services. Chestnut Tree has an integrated care team, whilst the post is to predominantly provide inhouse care, the post holder will also have opportunities to support community care and end of life care in children and young people’s homes.
Chestnut Tree House offers a comprehensive development programme for staff and inhouse training will be delivered to support staff to achieve clinical skills to care for children and to support staff in providing end of life care.
