About us:
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for babies, children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We support around 300 families both in the hospice and the community.
Our support services are wide-ranging and bespoke to each family, including end-of-life care, symptom management, post-death care, planned short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, psychotherapy, and much, much more. We work with staffing ratios that allow us to deliver a high-quality, holistic model of care tailored for each child and family.
As a registered charity, we receive around 16% of our funding from government sources, and our fundraisers and supporters raise the remaining funds needed to keep our services running. All roles within our organisation are valued, and we recognise the importance of a whole-team approach and the great things that happen when we work together.
The role:
We are seeking qualified Nursing Associates who want to be part of our Care team. You will be working as part of a supportive team consisting of nurses, nursing associates, care support workers and allied health professionals. Working as part of a team you will provide a high standard of holistic care and be able to balance opportunities for children to experience play, social interaction and learning alongside meeting the diverse nursing needs of the children supported by Bluebell Wood.

The requirements:
To fulfil the role effectively, you must be NMC registered and be able to work flexibly and collaboratively across the care services.
