Every moment counts. Every memory matters. Come and join our nursing team and provide exceptional care and support to children with life limiting and life threatening conditions.

We have a variety of role, from Nursing Associates, Nurse and Team Nurse available across Wiltshire or Dorset Hospice working in our hospices and the homes of the children we look after.

Our service is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission. Julia’s House supports more than 140 families across Dorset and Wiltshire, in the community, at our hospices and in our families own homes.

You will get the chance to spend time with the children and their families, developing strong relationships with families and meeting their individual needs. You will have the ability to work both in a team and independently and work using your own initiative as well as accessing and contributing to the skill base of the wider team.

You will work with a team of Carers, Nurses, Team Nurses, Senior Team Nurses and Lead Nurses in a supportive environment.

A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes are essential; and all positions are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Flexibility will be required to cover days, evenings, weekends and occasional nights. There are no set hours for contracted staff, our care is provided at the times requested by our families and is therefore variable. Rotas are prepared at least 6 weeks in advance.

Members of the NHS Pension Scheme may retain membership on joining Julia’s House. We offer 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rated for part-time staff), an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and a Life Assurance scheme.
