We now have an exciting new permanent full-time role available in our Professional Development team and we’re looking for a committed, compassionate and caring person to join us.
As a Practice Educator you will provide a specialist palliative care education programme including but not limited to the identification, development and delivery of training in palliative and end of life care, symptom management and communication skills.
You will be based at our office in Tring, but may be required to travel across the Rennie Grove catchment area (Buckinghamshire/ west Hertfordshire) so a car and driving licence will be essential.
To be successful in the role you’ll need to be a First Level Registered Nurse and have:
• a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of practice
• a qualification in palliative care or relevant experience
• extensive experience in mentoring and developing staff in the clinical field
• substantial experience of identifying, developing and delivering training
The following will be particularly helpful:
• a recognised teaching qualification
• a qualification in clinical supervision
• experience of implementing a clinical competency framework
37.5 hours per week.
