Rapid Response Team Associate Palliative Care Nurse Specialist (Band 6)
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Associate Palliative Care Nurse Specialist to work as part of the Rapid Response team in all Claire House settings, WIRRAL Hospice, Liverpool Day therapy unit and the community setting.
This role will be to provide specialist palliative and end of life care for babies, children and young adults in the setting of family’s choice hospice, home or hospital.
You will be expected to participate in the 24/7 on call service and available to work flexibly over a 7-day period. As a band 6 post you will have the opportunity to work along side and gain knowledge and skills from our Specialist multidisciplinary team and become competent in caring for a diverse group of patients from perinatal to young adults and every age in between.

Our wider multidisciplinary team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as planned and emergency short breaks both at the hospice, Liverpool day therapy unit and in the community.
