Research Officer
The International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN) is the global network working to improve access to palliative care for the more than 21 million children worldwide who need it. ICPCN is recognised as the world leader in children’s palliative care (CPC) and has a globally renowned expert leadership, a wealth of educational resources and a network of members working in over 190 countries.
The key purpose of this new Research Officer role is to support the research portfolio of the ICPCN, working alongside the Chief Executive and Programme Manager.
Hours: The post will be full time – 37.5 hours per week.
Job Purpose
To support the research portfolio of the ICPCN, working alongside the Chief Executive and Programme Manager, in the day to day running of programme such as e-learning, face-to face training, webinars etc.
The key performance areas will include, but not be limited to the following:
– developing an online research hub to facilitate dissemination of global research on children’s palliative care.
– supporting the development and then managing the delivery of a quarterly literature review, including the design of the review process and the format for its dissemination.
– supporting ICPCN’s Education activity and Monitoring and Evaluation portfolio.
– academic writing.
– supporting the running of ICPCN’s conference.
– supporting ICPCN’s wider activities as required.
