An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Shop Managers to join our Derian House charity retail stores in our locations in Leyland and Horwich.

 

Derian House Children’s Hospice provides respite and end of life care to life-limited children and their families, to help make every moment matter. Support is currently offered to over 350 families across the North-West and Cumbria and a large proportion of the £4.3m it costs to run the Hospice annually must be raised through donations and fundraising activity.

 

These roles involve managing and co-ordinating the daily retail activities for the specific shops, managing all aspects of the operation, including the management of staff, volunteers and vulnerable people, whilst also developing and delivering a high standard of customer service maximising sales and profitability.

 

The successful candidate will have proven ability to lead & supervise, with the ability to motivate others, proven ability of operating within a managerial role, and well-developed team building skills.

 

This role would require working some weekends and evenings as required.
