The Greatest Dancer presenter Jordan Banjo, and member of the world-famous dance troupe Diversity, is our new charity Ambassador.
Our good friend Jordan hosted the Together for Short Lives and Disney Nutcracker Ball last November and as host for the evening he played a vital role in helping to raise awareness and funds for our UK helpline for families facing the heartbreak of knowing that their child will die young. Jordan shared his passion for making a difference to these families with guests, encouraging them to support the charity’s work. Speaking at the Ball, Jordan said:
It’s vital that Together for Short Lives is there for families facing the toughest of times, knowing that their child will die young. These families simply do not have time to waste – they need our help now. With your support, we can more help children and families facing the unimaginable to make every moment count

On becoming a Charity Ambassador for Together for Short Lives, Jordan Banjo added:
‘I’m so proud to be an Ambassador for this amazing charity! Not only did I have to honour of hosting the Together for Short Lives’ Ball and meeting some truly inspirational people, but now being asked to be an Ambassador has made it an even more brilliant experience. Looking forward massively to working with Together for Short Lives and making a difference with this great cause!’
Our CEO, Andy Fletcher added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan as our new Ambassador. Jordan is an inspirational role model and fantastic ambassador for children and young people and is passionate about supporting our vital work. I know he will be a tremendous support to the seriously ill children, young people and families we are here for.”
