We have to take a moment to say a massive well done to our team of 15 superstars who took on the London Marathon on Sunday 27 April. Not only did they manage to tackle the 26 miles in what turned out to be a very hot and sunny day, but they also raised over £40,000 for seriously ill children and their families across the UK. Incredible!
Meet the team
It’s time to give a big shout out to our runners – Gemma, Peter, Euan, Katie, Chris, Olivia, Taylor, Gareth, Maria, David, Luke, Richard, Daniel, Matthew and Claire– you did absolutely amazing with your training and fundraising and we are so proud of your dedication. We loved cheering alongside you on the day.
Fundraising for Together for Short Lives was such a great experience. It is such a worthy cause and knowing where the donations go was at the heart of every difficult training run and the hard, hot miles of the marathon itself.

Every penny helps seriously ill children and their families across the UK
Money raised by our team of remarkable runners will support seriously ill children and their families through the toughest times. Every penny will enable us to answer the phone when a parent feels lost, unite children’s palliative care professionals out in your community, and campaign for a future where every seriously ill child like Alessi gets the care they need when and where they need it.
