Lance Corporal of Horse Richard Jones
World-class celebrity Magician, Mind Reader and winner of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, Lance Corporal of Horse Richard Jones became an ambassador for Together for Short Lives in April 2018.
Together for Short Lives got to know Richard after he was crowned winner of the tenth series of Britain’s Got Talent, and since then he has supported the charity at several fundraising events including the annual Midsummer Ball hosted by Together for Short Lives’ Patron Simon Cowell.
On becoming a Together for Short Lives Ambassador, Lance Corporal Richard Jones said:
I feel very honoured to become an Ambassador for such a worthwhile charity. I continue to be inspired by the incredible and vital work they carry out and the stories of the incredible families who they support. The reason I love magic so much, is because magic is all about enjoying the wonder of life in the present moment. What I believe to be important, isn’t the amount of time we have, but instead, how we spend the time that we are given. It is important for us to cherish every moment. By offering care and support, Together for Short Lives allows families to make the most of every moment they have together. I am very pleased to continue my support for the charity and look forward to meeting some of the families they support.
