Helplines forum

Our Helplines forums connect our charity member organisations who provide helplines. The meetings last one hour and are held via Webex (virtual meeting).

These forums let us discuss reoccurring themes that are unique to those caring for a child with a life-limiting and the overall impact on the services you provide. This is not a space to discuss individual cases, but instead a chance to share best practice and organisational procedures, strengthening links and uniting this small but important part of the sector.

Programme

In this meeting, we’ll be joined by Abi Warren (Service Support and Development Manager at Together for Short Lives) who’ll be discussing the role of hospices in children’s palliative care and fielding your questions about any clinical issues.

Audience

Staff/volunteers who work directly on a helpline and their managers. These forums are for organisations whose helplines provide listening support and signposting rather than those used for clinical advice or referral.
