Overview of the Paediatric Palliative Care Non-Medical Prescribing Study Day

This study day is open to all nurses and Allied Health Professionals working in hospital, community & hospices.
We also welcome those working as non-medical prescribers and those already on or thinking about NMP courses.
The day will involve networking, sharing experiences and interactive discussions.
The main focus is on Symptom Management & End of Life Care
HOT TOPICS
• RPS Framework
• Prescribing at end of life in renal failure
• Symptom management at end of life such as dyspnea, seizures & pain management.
Aims & Objectives:
•To update knowledge, skills and confidence of non-medical prescribers (NMPs) caring for children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions.
•To help equip NMPs for revalidation and share practice with other professionals prescribing in palliative and end of life care.
