This is an innovative course, combining teaching on key areas of paediatric palliative care (PPC) and support in developing a project of your choosing. This popular blended learning course consists of 4 teaching days, which due to the covid19 pandemic will be delivered via zoom, each a month apart.

The study days focus on principles and philosophy of PPC, communication skills, pain and symptom management, advance planning, care at time of death, bereavement care and team wellbeing. Alongside this students have ongoing access to a virtual learning environment to support reading, project development and discussion between taught days.

Previous students have been supported to develop these projects to make a real difference where they work, publish nationally and present at national conferences.
