Working with parents of children with serious illness and bereaved parents
Palliative care professionals have an important role to play when working with parents of seriously ill children to change support and services for the better. Researchers from Kings College London and the Universities of York and Leeds worked with 13 parents to explore how best to work with families compassionately and collaboratively when talking about their children.
The research team has created a leaflet of its findings, and an infographic that you can view online or download as a pdf.
Research was conducted by Kings College, University of York and University of Leeds, and funded by True Colours Trust. Animation created by Nifty Fox Creative.
