On his appointment, Andrew said: “I’m humbled to be appointed as Chair of Together for Short Lives. My genuine passion – and lifelong professional commitment – lies in making a meaningful difference for those less fortunate and privileged. I know from first hand experience what a difference the charity makes, and I am determined to make every moment count as I lead the Board in delivering its aims.”
Nick Carroll, CEO of Together for Short Lives said: “We are so pleased to welcome Andrew to the Board of Trustees as our new Chair. His passion to make meaningful difference to families of seriously ill children will help us to continue our mission to ensure that every seriously ill child and their family has access to high-quality care when and where they need it.
“We are incredibly grateful to our Vice Chair Sarah Talbot-Williams who has been a brilliant support and leader of the organisation in the last year, on top of being a Trustee for seven years. Sarah has made an indelible difference to the children’s palliative care sector which will be felt for years to come.”
