Band 6 Registered Nurse
We would like to invite experienced Nurses to join our vibrant and dynamic Care Team! This is a unique opportunity to be part of something exceptional in this patch of Oxfordshire.
This role will suit you if you have substantial experience in children’s nursing and/or palliative and end-of-life care. If you do not have a children’s nursing qualification but can demonstrate extensive paediatric palliative care experience and expertise, we would welcome your application. Most of all, you will have the passion to deliver holistic patient-centred care as part of a friendly and flexible team. In return, you will be supported in your role by Clinical Leads, a clinical education team, operational management, and medical team.
As a highly competent practitioner you will utilise your expertise by ensuring that practice is continuously under review and that all care given to children and families is based on sound evidence. You will achieve this by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised care using evidence-based guidelines. Your confidence will shine through when working in conjunction with children, families, and colleagues to evaluate innovative practice in the hospice and disseminating those findings.
Our Care Team fosters excellent working relationships with other members of the multidisciplinary team, volunteers, and other healthcare providers, and therefore, you will have vast opportunities to learn and grow in your professional role. We envisage a warm and welcoming team incorporating specialist Nurses working alongside volunteers and doctors; evolving, and offering an excellent service for children and young people within the locality, forging strong links with community services.
