East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) ensures the best possible quality of life and makes every moment count for children and families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.

In 2020, all three of our hospices; The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich) and Milton (Cambridge) were rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.
Our people are central to our success. We have a talented workforce of staff and volunteers in Care, Fundraising, Retail, Facilities, IT, Finance, Marketing & Communications and Human Resources.

We employ around 400 employees and have more than 1,800 volunteers across the organisation, including 51 shops and a Retail Distribution Centre.

Cleaner – Milton Hospice, CB24 6AB

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: 5 days over a 7 day working week

* Working Flexible hours (7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday with days off in the week to accommodate 2 out of 4 weekend coverage) *

(Internally know as ‘Housekeeper’)

Salary: £23,000 + circa £2,000 per annum in weekend enhancements based on working 2 out or 4 weekends, rates as below:

Enhanced Rates – Weekends, Evenings & Bank Holidays:
+ 30% Saturdays & Evenings
+ 60% Sundays & Bank Holidays

We are looking for a Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our small but busy Housekeeping team working in our beautiful hospice in a converted vicarage building in Milton.

Do you have:
• Experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper?

The role:
• This is varied role in a relaxed and supportive work team.
• Includes cleaning offices and care floor areas as well as a small number of bedrooms on occasion.
