Supporter Engagement Assistant
About us:
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We are currently supporting around 300 families both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more. It costs more than £5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government sources.
The role:
To work as part of our fundraising team to help develop and deliver outstanding supporter care and stewardship to our donors. Exceptional in nurturing relationships with donors throughout their supporter journey. Maintaining supporter satisfaction and generating the maximum amount of income for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
The requirements:
The successful applicant will have experience in customer service, cash handling, data entry and general administration. They will be a team player, a problem solver and a great communicator and share our enthusiasm for supporter care. They should have experience of working in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for attention to detail. They will be used to handling multiple income streams and processing these accurately within the required time scales. They will have excellent IT skills and experience of working with databases. They will also have great communication skills and feel confident dealing with our supporters through all mediums – letter, email, telephone and face to face.
