About Us:

Children’s Hospice South West provides care and support for children with life limiting conditions. We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic person who is motivated to join us on a permanent basis to support the Trust and Grants Fundraisers. To support our mission to make the most of short and precious lives across the South West.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Trusts and Grants Fundraisers, you will be responsible for researching and making relevant funding applications to charitable trusts and foundations and providing end of funding impact and evaluation reports as required.

Under direction from the Trusts and Grants Fundraisers, you will assist with the development and maintenance of new and long-term relationships through well-planned stewardship activities and the highest standards of donor care.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and organised individual to join our team.

A creative thinker, with excellent research skills and an eye for detail, you will be responsible for researching and making funding applications to charitable trusts and foundations, providing end of funding impact and evaluation reports as required.

The role demands high level of written skills with the ability to develop strong cases for support within inspirational proposals.

You must have knowledge of the charity sector and grant-making bodies, an understanding of the application of charity and fundraising legislation, sound research and analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and experience of achieving challenging targets.
