Commenting on Zoe’s Place’s decision to close its Liverpool hospice at the end of 2024, Andy Fletcher, Chief Executive of Together for Short Lives, said:
“This is very difficult news for the children and families who receive care from the hospice, the staff who tirelessly provide it and all those in the local community who support Zoe’s Place Liverpool. This will have been a very challenging decision for Zoe’s Place’s trustees to make.
“My thoughts are with them all at this difficult time.”
“Together for Short Lives commits to working with professionals and services in Merseyside to help make sure that the children and families affected by this decision can access the palliative care they need, when and where they need it.”
