We are thrilled to announce that Center Parcs have decided to extend their partnership with Together for Short Lives until April 2020.
Center Parcs and Together for Short Lives share a passion for creating quality family time, and Center Parcs staff have shown incredible enthusiasm to help seriously ill children and their families make the most of their precious time together.
Our partnership began in 2016, and since that time they have raised over £430,000 to support Together for Short Lives and children’s hospices across the UK. All five Center Parcs villages and their Head Office and Contact Centre teams get involved in fundraising for their local children’s hospices, doing everything from Tough Mudders to duck races to A-Z activity challenges.

Center Parcs also donates a number of short breaks to families supporting a child with a life-limiting illness. Recently Chris, Hannah, Jacob, Samuel and Maxwell went on a Center Parcs break. Hannah said: “We had such a great time, it was lovely spending time together away from the demands of everyday. The staff were so very helpful, they arranged a fully adapted accommodation and we were able to keep our adapted vehicle with us for the duration of our stay.” The family were able to go cycling, swimming and fed the wildlife that came up to their lodge.
We are so grateful to Center Parcs and Together for Short Lives for giving us this experience and a much-needed break away.

Martin Dalby, Center Parcs CEO says, “I am so very proud of the way that both our teams and guests alike have got behind and engaged with this special cause. Over the last couple of years we’ve raised £430k which is great, but we want to raise so much more in the next two years. Family time is precious for these children and their families and we are committed to doing what we can to help them get the support they need to create some very special memories together.”
Andy Fletcher, CEO says, “We are so pleased that our fantastic partnership with Center Parcs will continue into 2020. Our shared values, their commitment to the cause, and the level of engagement from Center Parcs staff is truly inspiring to witness. The amount they have raised over the past two years has exceeded all expectations, and we are thrilled to continue working even more closely with them and our member children’s hospices so that together we can provide support to the 49,000+ children in the UK with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, and their families.”
