I am incredibly proud to be joining forces with Together for Short Lives and welcoming them on board on as our new charity partner for M&S Food. The work that they do to support families across the UK is truly inspirational, and I am delighted that we will be playing a role in their vital work to help protect the lifeline care that children’s hospices provide.

In 2020-21, M&S Food set an impressive challenge – to raise £1m for Together for Short Lives to support children’s hospices across the UK. Together for Short Lives became one of the 35 charities to benefit from M&S’s Sparks reward scheme, as well as activations over the Christmas period.

Along with Shelter, we were the 2020 Christmas Food on the Move charity partner, with 5% from every pack sold donated towards our work. Our Christmas cards and “The World’s Funniest Crackers”, exclusively created with comedian friends of Together for Short Lives, raised £292,000. M&S’ £1m enabled 5,000 urgent visits to families’ homes by specialist outreach nurses.

M&S have also shown their support by selling an exclusive Frozen 2 tote bag, created in partnership with Disney, ahead of the film’s release in 2019.
