Together for Short Lives is thrilled to be chosen as one of the charities to benefit from Global Radio’s exciting new appeal, Make Some Noise. The funds raised for Together for Short Lives will support the 53 children’s hospice services across the country.
Global is the largest commercial radio group in the UK and covers eight unique brands (Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Classic FM, Smooth, LBC, Xfm and Gold). With over 23 million listeners every week, the appeal provides a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and money for the important work of a range of local children’s charities, including the UK’s children’s hospices.
Children’s hospices are all charities and rely on donations – the money raised will make a real difference to local children’s hospices helping them to deliver lifeline support, so families can make the most of their precious time together.
Make Some Noise will culminate with a special appeal day across all the stations on Thursday 9 October, with some incredibly powerful family stories also being aired in the run up to the appeal to showcase why care and support from children’s hospice services means so much to seriously ill children and their families.
