Leaders, one of the UK’s premier letting and estate agency, has raised a fantastic £153,154 for local children’s hospices during its three-year partnership with Together for Short Lives.
The company selected Together for Short Lives as its charity partner in January 2015 and from the start, the enthusiastic staff fully embraced the partnership with a number of fundraising events and volunteering activities.
Each branch was partnered with its local children’s hospice service, raising money directly to help seriously ill children and their families in the community. Staff raised money with superhero dress up days, cake sales, abseiling challenges, sponsored walks and cycle events. The company also engaged its landlords through a ‘Donate a Day’s Rent’ initiative during Children’s Hospice Week in 2017, raising an amazing £14,000 in one day.
In addition to raising money, staff from Leaders also supported their local children’s hospice by volunteering. The team spent time gardening at local children’s hospice, Chestnut Tree House.
