On Monday 11 September, we were thrilled to be back at BGC Partners in London as part of their annual BGC Charity Day, which raises vital funds for charities across the world.

We were joined by our Patron Holly Willoughby and supporter Alesha Dixon, who took to the trading floors to help raise vital money for our Butterfly Fund.

Holly and Alesha were joined by mum Emma, who sadly lost her son Stanley at just four years old, and mother-daughter duo Britt and Zoë, who are supported by our friends at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

Financial support for bereaved families

Funds raised by BGC Partners will help us financially support bereaved families after their children die. Since we started the Fund, we have given over 1,200 grieving families gifts worth over £360,000.

I felt so lucky to be part of such an incredible day. It meant so much to tell people about Stanley and the impact he had on everyone who knows and loves him. Having lost my little boy, I know first hand just how much of a difference the money raised will make to grieving parents like myself.

BGC Partners’ long-lasting legacy for seriously ill children and their families

This is the seventh year we’ve been invited to BGC’s Charity Day, and so far, they have raised an incredible £280,943 for the children and families we support. We are so grateful to everyone at BGC Partners, and the remarkable fundraising they do to honour those who lost their lives on 9/11.
