Together for Short Lives was chosen as Hobbycraft’s first Charity of the Year in 2012. Both organisations share a passion for the therapeutic power of arts and crafting.

Hobbycraft colleagues have taken on some demanding challenges including;
- Walking the 110 mile long Tarka Trail
- Cycling from London to Paris
- Trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
In May 2015, Together for Short Lives and Hobbycraft launched a brand new fundraising initiative called Craft-tea, encouraging people to get together to drink tea, eat cake and craft! Find out more about Craft-tea
Hobbycraft have also launched Pennies, the digital charity box which allows customers to make a small donation to the charity at point of purchase in store. It will also continue donating the proceeds of its carrier bag levy to Together for Short Lives.
