The partnership was launched in June 2016 to run for a period of two years. Each of the five villages were twinned with local hospices in order to create a close relationship between the Center Parcs teams and the services they are helping to support in their own communities.
The five chosen hospices are: Bluebell Wood; Jigsaw; East Anglia Children’s Hospice, Keech and Children’s Hospice South West.
Objectives of the Partnership
- Increase guest awareness about the work of children’s hospices and the needs of children and families
- Raise £100k per year to support children’s hospice services
- Increase Center Parcs colleague engagement and satisfaction
Outcomes of the Partnership
In the first four months of the partnership the Center Parcs raised an incredible £98,202. These funds were raised through a variety of activities such as family fun days, team skydives and challenges, the management conference and guest donations to name but a few. Staff from both the villages and head office have had the chance to visit their local hospice and see the amazing facilities and support that they provide to families when they need it the most.
