We are looking for an experienced and creative communications professional to join Together for Short Lives, the UK’s leading charity for Children’s Palliative Care. You will be responsible for leading campaigns and strategy to drive engagement and substantially grow the charity’s supporters and partners, reach new audiences, and raise the profile of Together for Short Lives.

The Marketing Manager will be part of Together for Short Lives’ Communications team with responsibility for supporting our Fundraising Directorate. Your role will be to deliver a marketing strategy across all areas of fundraising including individual giving, corporate partnerships major gifts, events and trusts. You will be a creative thinker, with a passion for fundraising, who thrives on exploring innovative approaches to solve complex problems to deliver high profile, stand-out marketing campaigns.

A natural collaborator, you will work with colleagues across the charity to develop and deliver creative content that cuts through the noise and reach new audiences.  You will need to be highly organised and used to working with multiple stakeholders to deliver content and marketing plans on time and to budget. A skilled storyteller, you’ll create compelling and powerful content that communicates our brand story emotionally and simply and connects and engages supporters.

You’ll be a natural networker with a love and passion for communicating with all our stakeholders and building strong relationships. By bringing compelling stories from families and professionals to a wide audience, your work will help us to secure vital funds and engage new supporters and donors.

Initially this will be a two-year fixed term contract. Together for Short Lives are open to discuss flexible working arrangements including job shares. You can work flexibly, located at our central Bristol office or in a hybrid arrangement.
