Rosalind Britton has been Together for Short Lives’ Treasurer since 2011. Rosalind has had a varied career as an accountant working in public practice, the retail sector and the health care sector.
Her last role before retirement was as Finance Director for St Barnabas Hospices. During that time, Rosalind was involved in the building of the children’s hospice Chestnut Tree House and the rebuild of the adult hospice.
Rosalind was appointed treasurer for Children’s Hospices UK in 2009 and was involved in merger discussions when Children’s Hospices UK and the Association for Children’s Palliative Care (ACT) merged to become Together for Short Lives in 2011.
Rosalind chairs the Together for Short Lives Finance and Resources Committee. Her key interests for the sector are to ensure adequate funding for children’s hospices and for the charity to work towards ensuring that every child with a life-limiting condition and their family should have access to the care that they need.
